Thrillers Majestic Cloud TWHBEA SSHBEASpring is in the air and time to get busy starting the two year olds. Currently we have three 2 year olds being started under saddle, Thrillers Majestic Cloud, Thrillers Stormy Sky, and Johns Day Dreamer. I start all my colts by ground driving them first so they can get a feel for the bit and learn how to steer. But before I start ground driving with a bit, I get their wolf teeth pulled. This is very important when training young horses to get these teeth removed because it can interfere with your progress in training. Each youngster is doing well and are taking to riding with ease. They all stand great to be mounted from both sides, and they can be touched everywhere while in the saddle.  They are learning to guide with rein and started using leg cues. Because I take my time with so much ground work and desensitizing I don't have a rodeo. They ride off with very little resistant. Keep checking back on thier progress.

Tracys Little Angel 2014 TWHBEA foalOur last foal hit the ground on June 3, 2014 at 5pm. Tracy's Little Angel gave birth to a healthy filly out of Thriller's Maverick Man. I don't quite know what color she will be but thinking she is going to turn gray with some crome legs. We are so blessed to have four healthy good looking foals this year.

SCW The Ultimate Zephyr Stud ColtWe are pleased to announce SCW The Ultimate Zephyr (Grace) foaled April 15th, 2014 at 10:20pm. She delivered a stunning bay tobiano stud colt sired by Thriller's Maverick Man. This is Mavericks first foal to hit the ground and he painted this one up right.

Majors Midnight RomeoThe holiday season is upon us and with 2014 right around the corner, it is time to look into next years riding season. Mountainview Ranch would like to offer our fine stock at discounted prices during the winter months. Making it easier to purchase a quailty horse you may not have been able to afford during the summer riding season. Most all of our horses are currently being ridden undersaddle and all the young colts are being handeled daily.

We don't quit in the winter months because we have indoor facilties to keep all the horses tuned up for your riding pleasure. We also are offering riding lessons and tune ups during this time. And if you don't see a horse that might fit what you are looking for, we can help you find one!  Don't forget to check out our for sale page! Also we have 5 mares due to foal in the spring two are bred to Pride's Thrill-Ah-Gee and three are bred to Thriller's Maverick Man. We are sure to get some color on the ground this coming year. You can purchase a foal before its born, so check out our broodmares to see which baby you would love to have! You can't go wrong with a spotted tennessee walker foal from our program!

Thrillers Painted CometAbout two months ago I starting working with Thriller's Painted Comet. A double regisitered TWHBEA & SSHBEA homozygous stallion. Since Comet is stallion he needs to have great ground manners and proper training to make him a safe horse to be around. Comet is the most fearless colt I have ever worked with! When introducing new things to him, he will approch with confidence and want to see if it is something he can play with. From lawn chairs to pillows Comet is always testing what he can put in his mouth.

We currently have 3 puppies left for sale. Two black and white males and one tri colored female. They are current on thier shots and worming. They were born Febuary 9, 2013 and are 7/8 border collie and 1/8 catahoula. They are out of working parents and make great ranch and family dogs. Asking $75
