Who said Tennessee Walkers couldn't drive?

Print Email

Jackson 03112013 8Thrillers Jackson Hole is starting his second week of driving training. Yesterday was the first day being hooked up to a cart with another horse, a Suffolk Punch mare named Red. He did excellent for his first time. He was a little unsure of the tongue of the cart hitting him in the leg when he turned into it, but after a few laps he started settling in.

Jackson is just turning 4 years old in April and is already standing at 16 hh. So far he is coming along great under saddle and has been introduced to cattle along with ATV’s, dogs, and tractors. He is super willing to learn new things and accepts new experiences with curiosity. Jackson is showing the true versatility of the breed with all of the training he is receiving and excelling in.
