Bill MauteBill Maute fell in love with the Tennessee Walker breed when he bought the ranch in Wyoming in 1995. His first Tennessee Walker was a palomino mare named Summere’, which he bred and raised his first set of foals from. In 2002 Bill purchased our founding sire Pride’s Thrill-Ah-Gee at Wiser Farm in Shelbyville, TN. Since Thriller’s introduction to the ranch he has made our operation what it is today. The quality of conformation, big bone, short backed, naturally gaited, a wonderful disposition foals! Bill also raises a few angus cattle and breeds working cattle dogs. This allows his horses to show off the versatility of the breed from working cattle and desensitizing to farm equipment, atvs, traffic and dogs. If you ask Bill he will tell you that the Tennessee Walker is the Cadillac of the gaited horse breeds. Once you ride one you will want one!
